More than 4,000 people visited ENAIRE's facilities in 2019
ENAIRE hosted pre-arranged visits for 4,304 people at its facilities in 2019, mainly in the centres and control towers from which air traffic is managed in Spain.

The visits were made by institutional representatives, aviation groups, school students, associations of spotters and individuals interested in aviation in general, who want to see first-hand the work that is carried out by the air navigation service provider in Spain.
Visits by control centre and tower
The air traffic control centres and towers in Barcelona and Valencia were the most popular, with a total of 1,337 visitors in 2019, followed by the Palma Control Centre, which received 1,067 visitors.
The Seville Control Centre recorded a total of 976 visits; the Madrid Centre and Control Tower received 506 visitors, and ENAIRE's installations in the Canary Islands welcomed 445 people.
June, the most popular month
The month of June saw the highest number of visits nationwide, with a total of 547 visitors. This was followed by the months of November (467) and March (466).
ENAIRE opens the doors to its 5 control centres and 21 towers throughout Spain to share with society the technical work that is done by its professionals.
About ENAIRE
ENAIRE is the company of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda that manages air navigation in Spain. It renders aerodrome control services at 21 airports, including the busiest in terms of air traffic, plus en-route and approach control, from five control centres: Barcelona, Madrid, Gran Canaria, Palma and Seville. In addition, ENAIRE provides communications, navigation and surveillance services to 45 air control towers.
In 2019, ENAIRE handled 2.1 million flights to and from four continents (Europe, America, Asia and Africa), transporting 300 million passengers.
ENAIRE is the fourth most important European air navigation service provider, and, in a clear commitment to the Single Sky initiative, belongs to international partnerships such as SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) Joint Undertaking, SESAR Deployment Manager, A6, iTEC, CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation) and ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization).
