Created in 1994, the ENAIRE Foundation is the cultural institution related to ENAIRE responsible for the management, preservation and outreach of ENAIRE’s artistic heritage, comprising nearly 1,300 contemporary artworks from different disciplines (painting, sculpture, picture and ceramic murals, photographs, works on paper, graphic works and multimedia art, among others).

The diversity of styles represented in this collection is an interesting repertoire of the different art movements that have occurred in Spain over the past century, covering everything from figurative art and expressionism through to abstract art and different manifestations of constructivism.

The Foundation also plays a significant role in fostering aeronautical culture. Its activities include:

• Contemporary art exhibitions with its own collection or aeronautical collections.
• Publication of books, catalogues and digital magazines.
• An annual photography, journalism and aeronautical competition.
• Study events and conference series.
