"The close collaboration between ENAIRE and the Mossos d'Escuadra is essential to ensure airspace safety"
The Mossos d'Escuadra (Catalonia's regional police force) have recognised their partnership with ENAIRE's professionals to ensure airspace safety.
This recognition of ENAIRE's professionals materialised with the presentation of the Bronze Medal with Blue Band to Javier de Martí Vallés, an air traffic controller who works at the Barcelona Air Traffic Control Centre.

De Martí Vallés, head of the Coordination Department of ENAIRE's East Regional Office, received the award "for the close daily collaboration between ENAIRE and the Mossos d'Escuadra any time the need arises to coordinate or manage the airspace."
The Spanish air navigation manager coordinates daily operations, such as drone and helicopter flights, with Catalonia's regional police to guarantee safety at all times, whether the flights involved are commercial or not.
The award is presented in recognition of the teamwork of all ENAIRE professionals and their fulfilment of their mission to serve the public and its citizens as a corporate entity of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda.
