ENAIRE wins the 2021 Gran Empresa Award for Change Management

ENAIRE, the national air navigation service provider, has won the 2021 Gran Empresa Award for Change Management, presented by Group IMm-Institute for Managing Positive Change.

The award, which was presented at an event in Madrid, recognises ENAIRE's "Agora Transformation" project, a debate space built on ENAIRE's values and created by the organisation to help it improve its organisational culture in the face of new challenges presented by the air navigation sector.

"Agora Transformation", known internally as AGORA, is a forum that places special emphasis on internal communication and the personal and professional growth of all ENAIRE professionals, by carrying out numerous events of all types: seminars on case studies involving current or interesting topics, engagement with the teams of the company's different units, courses on corporate values, training on emerging aspects in the corporate world, surveys and more.

The AGORA project, which is part of ENAIRE's Strategic Plan, 2025 Flight Plan, is overseen by ENAIRE's Strategy and Transformation Division, whose manager, Javier Martínez Pérez-Pérez, received the award accompanied by the AGORA team: Gema García Gómez, Clara Sáez Campo and Olga Pérez de Diego.

"This award acknowledges the importance of organisational culture as a driving force for change at ENAIRE. This culture promotes the active participation of all company professionals in innovative and disruptive projects intended to overcome the major challenges in the air navigation sector". These were the words of ENAIRE's Head of Strategy and Transformation, Javier Martínez, who notes that the company's Strategic Plan, 2025 Flight Plan, is the guide for transforming and modernising ENAIRE.

The "Agora Transformation" project is part of the ENAIRE 5.0 Strategic Plan, which promotes communication, digitisation and cultural change. "AGORA is, within this framework, an open space for debate built atop ENAIRE's values, which promotes the improvement of the organisational culture, as well as a commitment between the organisation and its professionals to enhance and transform the organisation", says Javier Martínez.

Companies that drive change

This is the 7th edition of these awards, intended to (in the words of the Group IMm-Institute for Managing Positive Change) "recognise and reward companies and individuals that support and encourage change in organisations, promote trends, uphold entrepreneurial ideas, bring culture and knowledge to today's society, and implement changes aimed at organisational well-being, productivity and happiness".

The awards feature five categories: for the best company driving change in the Large Company category (the one won by ENAIRE), for the best company driving change in the Small and Medium-sized Business Category, for the best company driving change in the family business category, for the Person Driving Change within an Organisation, and for the company in any category that has implemented a change project aimed at organisational well-being and productivity.

Past winners of different editions of these awards include Mapfre, Navantia, Sener, Saint Gobain, Santa Lucía, Salud Madrid and Santander.
