She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a degree in Economics - Applied International Economics - from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia and has been a career civil servant in the State Corps of Civil Engineers since 2003.
She has spent practically her entire professional career in the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, where, after joining the Directorate General for Roads as her first post, she has held various responsibilities in the Economic Consultancy Division and in the Support Unit of the Directorate General for Economic Programming and Budgets.
Since September 2014, she has been Deputy Director General for Economic Monitoring of the Directorate General for Economic Programming and Budgets of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.
She has been a director of SASEMAR and of the Sociedad Estatal de Infraestructuras del Transporte Terrestre.
