He holds a Law degree from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He has completed postgraduate studies in Personnel Administration and Management Techniques and in Management of Labour and Social Relations at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
He began his professional career in 1988 as an Air Traffic Assistant at the Canary Islands Control Centre for the Civil Aviation General Directorate. Subsequently, for both Aena and ENAIRE, he has held positions including Head of the Economic-Administrative Department, Head of the Training Department, Head of the Human Resources Management Department, and Head of the Administration and Human Resources Division, all within the Canary Islands Regional Directorate of Air Navigation. Since September 2019, he has been the Head of the Personnel and Administration Division in the Canary Islands Region.
