ENAIRE Global Services (EGS), the subsidiary created to drive ENAIRE's international expansion in the non-regulated sector, made its official debut at Airspace World, the leading international air traffic management event, held in Lisbon.
The presentation was delivered by Santiago Cortés Burns, CEO of ENAIRE Global Services, who set out the new company's vision, capabilities and business lines before representatives of air navigation service providers, regulators, industry and international operators.
Santiago Cortés stressed that "ENAIRE Global Services has been created to position ENAIRE as a global, competitive operator ready to meet the challenges of future aviation in the non-regulated sector," and highlighted ENAIRE's technical and operational expertise as the foundation for its international expansion.
Three strategic business areas
ENAIRE Global Services (EGS) is the state-owned company created by ENAIRE to operate in the non-regulated market, primarily internationally, diversifying its activity and strengthening its global presence. Its business model is built around three areas:
- operational air traffic management services;
- technology and consultancy services;
- and services for drones and new airspace users.
This structure enables ENAIRE to operate more efficiently, flexibly and competitively in new international markets, complementing its activity as Spain’s national air navigation service provider in the regulated sector.
A platform for ENAIRE's internationalisation
EGS has been conceived as ENAIRE’s platform for participating in international projects in the non-regulated sector, whether directly, through international subsidiaries, or in coordination with other companies in the sector. The strategy is aimed at establishing ENAIRE as a global benchmark in air navigation services, in line with its 2026 2030 Strategic Plan, Flight Plan 2030.
ENAIRE Global Services' presence at Airspace World in Lisbon underlines its commitment to innovation, digitalisation and the safe integration of new airspace users at a time of global transformation across the sector.
With this international launch, ENAIRE Global Services takes a decisive step forward in its market launch, positioning itself as a player ready to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities of future aviation.
